depends on how long-lived humans are in this world although even if elves/witches are long lived, i'd think some ppl other than some barrier/spell cast, would be getting up for like a brief period to eat and bathe lol tho some kinda time chamber would be amusing too

I love it when stories make use of how long-lived species have a very different sense of time than normal humam rationale. I mean, even for human, a lot of insects probably think we do a lot of sleeping for a lifetime compared to them, esp those whose lifespan seem to be in the weeks or months.
