Actually, the reason why isekai are that bad is that the author is not trying to make anything, literally. They just chose the easiest way to get a public, and try to take a part of the market to make a living.
You don't need any work to make an isekai, everyone can do it, with like 20 min of time, u can make a unoriginal isekai, and u don't even need to be good at drawing, some of them got such bad ones . What's more, I rarely see finished isekai, with a *true* end, they tend to get dropped and forgotten in the midst of nowhere that's ridiculous.
And I also don't remember seeing an isekai with a mc having ***true*** difficulty, whether in combat or in anything else.
Anyways, 90% of isekai are shit so
