Maybeee Meng Nian wasn't ''corrupted'' as our MC thinks so. I'm guessing Meng Nian is not the original Meng Nian from the novel she MC has written (Duh, of course she's not the same, she has changed). What I mean is, what if the Meng Nian we are seeing right now is a completely different character--or rather, a completely different person just like our MC? It wouldn't surprise me, considering that the ''male'' interest is actually a woman since the beginning in this universe, contradicting the MC's original plot. Just maybe, our MC got transmigratted to a different story she had initially written--It has It's similarities, but It's not the same story. Perhaps the original Meng Nian is somewhere else, maybe trapped in another transmigrattion or whatever. Those are just my thoughts, I may be wrong. Let's wait for the next chapters. The TL is goated, I've been reading the raws the entire time using AI translate, and my goodness, it was hard to read. I'm really grateful to the TL for picking this up because all the sites were either MTLs or none at all so I had to bear with finding the raws and using AI to read till chapter 75. I stopped reading after seeing someone actually pick this up from scratch.
