Real Quick, the main MC is the childhood friend right? Why introduce the childhood friend in such a dramatic and vibrant scene right at the start with his inner monologue talking about the FMC (which gives him massive Main character vibes without a doubt) to only use him as a straight man background character who's only interactions will most likely be from fixing the airheads mistakes and the short blonde who just so happens to be a background character as well. I am fairly certain the black-haired dude is nowhere near the delinquent status, so the title clearly does not refer to him; then why the main MC vibes? Why the exalted childhood friend status to the person who narrates the first part of the story if he is gonna get cucked/NTR'd in Ch. 2 to a spoiled but somewhat appealing tall delinquent who happens to run the school and considered untouchable by the peasants he walks around (what a surprise wonder if this character is a troupe of some sort of genre's generic MC? Hmmmmmm)

It's just strange, man.
