(1) If he was smart enough to do that, he wouldn't be in this situation. We are trying to work with what we have here.
(2) Everyone has their own preferences about what they want in a job, and MC may not be one of those who likes to "sit in a comfortable chair" and look at tables, even if it pays well. Personally, I agree with you, and that's what I would do, but again, we are not Hajime.
