A few chapters back, she said something like "I'll make them wish they didn't know my name"
Now she's like "wah, I knew I should have been harsher" like YES girl, you SHOULD HAVE what the hell was that? Actions having consequences is not revenge, and that's all this was - commit fraud, get detained.

From a readers perspective, Cecily probably matured faster than normally.

Normally when growing up in a abusive home. The child would reflect or inherit the parents views from right to wrong. But Cecily probably realized the right from wrongs at a young age. Especially if she was exposed to Clive and Clarence being abused. Other factors probably play a part. But I will wait and see

Actually, that's a translation error. In the raws she said that she would allow them to buy a house if they had extra money after selling their current house to pay off their 900 gold debt, instead of using the massive debt as a excuse to sell them into slavery or whatever.

ie., she didn't lose any money, and the adoptive parents lost money since selling the jewels won't net them as much money as they spent.
