Anyway my question would be how old was the dad when he had his daughter? Because I'm trying to figure out what their actual age gap would be if they met in real time and not time travel time.

So assuming it's real time, and it's 2020, that means the dad was 20 when he had his daughter, meaning this guy's age is 48. Is that an average age to be a dad if your daughter is 28? Also Lel why doesn't the daughter have a husband then if she's 28.

@gregger the part about him being from 1988 is correct because in a later chapter, it gets brought up that he’s from that year (also says in this chapter he’s from the freshman class of 88). As for the year the story is set in, either 2018 or 2019, not sure. I haven’t done the math yet exactly, but we might get more clues/facts later on.

Edit: Actually, it might be 2018 because Gaku’s a freshman, and her dad is in the same year as him so 1988+2 (3rd year or graduated from high school), that would be 1990 and adding Akira’s age to it gives you 2018, right?

i like how this is in the old 80's/90's style. like the character style, the aesthetic, mood, even the old fall over joke that's not done as much anymore. really gives a nostalgic feel and fits very well for the theme and story. in fact i have to keep questioning, "this was published recently right? or was this originally from the 80's/90's???" except since it's on pixiv obviously it's current, but it's that good in maintaining the style!
