Developing a relationship (being a roommate is a relationship) for the sole sake of something you want, without ever telling the other part is dishonest as fuck.
The definition of "coax" is "to gently and persistently persuade someone to do something". She was persistent; she spent months on this plan. She was gentle; she did it all without ever actually asking until now. TBH, this goes beyond mere coaxing into pure manipulation.

@deathmailrock your missing the point, shes been trying to manipulate him and kept in the dark to suddenly pounce a giant decision on him out of nowhere, its clear she hasnt been honest with him or treating him with respect and instead trying to get him to make a choice without actually realising it, its clear that she had a goal in moving in with him and now he has to question wether she actually cares about him at all or if all of it was just an act to trick him into going
by keeping him in the dark it shows a lack of respect and trust in him, shes not really considering his opinion and feelings
its like finding out someones been your friend only to because they wanted to convince you to work with them and only pretended to be your friend
wether he can say no is irrelevant, her actions are a cunt move

@deathmailrock then why not tell that from the start? Why be an asshole about it now? and she forced herself into his life, he didnt even have a choice in that matter

Now, try to get yourself in Yuji's clothes: you live alone in a small 1DK (for who don't know what 1DK means, it's basically the layout of apartments in japan https://resources.realestate.co.jp/...whats-the-difference-and-which-should-i-rent/), you do a job (illustrator) you "have to" do because your passion (panting) isn't profitable, your mom doesn't support you but suddenly calls you to tell you that you have to live with a girl you don't know (ok they met in the past, but he doesn't remember), you start living with this girl and you slowly start having fun...then, after quite a bit of time (months) your mom calls again, she clearly states that she thinks you're wasting your life and also that the girl's father is visiting. You talk with this man and he drops a bomb on you....now before this part, we already know that Yuji is in a shitty mood, he knows that his current job isn't much more profitable than being a painter and that his mother is against him, but he doesn't give up...then they offer you to basically go to another world (Japan and Italy are completely different, trust me) and you also come to know that the girl came to you from the start with the intention of bringing you back with her (go read that part again: Francesca says "yes" to Yuji's question "have you been trying to get me to go to italy this whole time?", that's not an offer....she didn't offer, her father did...she came with the intention of getting him to follow her) and to pour salt on the wound, the reason is "i thought i could do my current job in italy" and "i thought it could be better for you too"....to me that's kinda selfish and also degrading to his struggles and the will to not give up he showed
Yuji have everyone close person to him actually against him....so yes, i think it's normal to get mad in that state of mind....i'd rage too
Also, this girl might smell like troubles, but it got hinted that she most likely got played/raped in the not so far past....and she calmed down a bit at the festival, so she might not be a bad choice....and tbh, for me, Francesca can go fuck herself back in Italy

Damn, she wanted to spend more time with him and give him a job opportunity this whole time? He must feel pretty betrayed.
I don't understand why he felt betrayed? He was given an opportunity to advance his career as a painter in another country and he gotten it through a contact (in this case francesca's father) that a person is interested in it. And he seems a little dissatisfied with his current job so he should be happy to get this once in a lifetime opportunity to go overseas to work his dream job and at the same time study there.
