Please forgive me if this sounds like a stupid question, since I don't know anything about accounting, but what would be the need to have a record of the real donation amount?
If you get $100 donations, you pocket $20 and give the church $80 and you write it down as $80 donation, nobody would know you pocket $20. It's not like the peasants who donated would make a tax-deductible tax return statement. Why would she need a real book and a fake book? She can just have one book, which details what she wants people to know and nobody will know better.
