The text outlines a waaaaaaay to thick... For example on page 2 I measured 12 pixels! :haa:
1-2 pixel is enough, and you can further thin it with playing with transparency and/or gaussian blur.
You only need to differentiate the text from the art, while not covering it up.

The priest only meet her right?
And he already decided to believe what he saw from her is the greatest thing?
Not a single ounce of doubt?
Like "this noble lady might be faking it just like my family"
Guess that's your protagonist privilege

Can't say I particularly missed this series. I suppose something interesting could happen now that this boring ass priest plot is wrapped up.

I remembered this priest kidnapped Rachel, and nothing else.

Why did they have to spend the entire chapter deconstructing his motives like a Detective Conan story? Not to mention I have no basic knowledge about real life church doctrine or theology, so all that realisation Rachel had flew over my head.

It's nothing to do with real religion. The whole point of it was just that this fantasy church worships light, and some of the priest take it to the extreme and considers "dark spirits" to just be evil outright and wants to get rid of them.

Basically this chapter is to say that Alois is not a bad guy, he had to do this whole kidnapping thing because he feels that he can't fight his family. And plus lore about the church, because that's probably who they have to deal with next.

Damn I can tell that this was one of "those" chapters. The kind that... And such hate! But unless they can. They must. Family!

Seriously though, the way Japanese uses context and short phrases with history around their usage to get across a point is so difficult to translate. This chapter's focus on family, duty, responsibility, and the related emotions are all deeply Japanese things that the author likely didn't feel the need to have much exposition, leaving us with a few sparodic points of information. What's a TL to do, write their own story in-between the lines?

Thanks for the chapter, but I can absolutely see why this wouldn't be a good impression for continuing to TL, on top of cleaning/redraw foibles.

Why did I start this and ignore the upload dates.... lol. So many series get this treatment if people starting them and dropping em and good series being ignored for so long :( sadness

just an advice, you should translate the dialog as a whole, not per bubble text, and then distribute the whole dialog on each bubble text if you feel it's fit.

I re-read this whole thing, so I could appreciate this new chapter.
Time NOT wasted.

I'm still glad, after a year, that the prince punched that fuck in the face; and I am doubly glad to see the Priest accept his responsibility, and go to goddamn jail.

A little low on story progression, but I figured this chapter was just going to fill in some gaps; that's super typical of this writing style, and I'm honestly here for it.
