It's a pity they made her an absolutely unsympathetic character in the second page. The "I am was rich and make terrible life decisions" shtick copes well with how to handle any large amount of likes the comic may get, to be clear. That part is inspired! ...But it amounts to nothing if she becomes simply unlikable in the process.
There's so many variations of this that could have worked, but the way she's presented is neither sympathetic, nor charming.
Like, if it felt like she was just innocently and humorously clueless of the value of things as an until-recently sheltered person, instead of haughty about it like a right proper villianess, that would totally work. Conversely if you wanted her to be a haughty villainess, she could be going about this with a charmingly reckless force of personality or some such. But taking a sort of tepid middle road here is really not helping things.
That's not to say this couldn't still work, depending on where it goes! Early days and all that. If, for instance, the author's plan is to start with her being haughty and unlikable and then have her slowly breaking down as things get tougher, that could be quite interesting with this premise. As an example.
It's just that as it stands, I'm... concerned the writer's cleverness in coming up with the premise may not be reflected in the quality of the story. XD
