Hm. Well, I'm not fond of the general 'misunderstanding that basic communication skills would resolve' trope, but at least it's mercifully short here, and results in genuine conversation afterward. This leans more on the 'frustrating' end on the 'frustrating-to-satisfying' scale, but there's a purpose behind it all, and things resolve in a reasonable way.
