I am getting so damn confused by reading this and railgun at same time. Feels like both are flashbacks about same time period or something like that, and keep on getting my plotlines mixed as a result... No idea why it feels like it [that both are super long flashback arcs], but it does.

Railgun's current arc went from where Misaka just got in Tokiwadai, to like a month or two from the beginning of ToAru time, since Kuroko has just started Tokiwadai and isn't head over heels on Mikoto yet.

Mental Out, since the girls are wearing their winter uniforms is probably set straight after the current railgun story.
Or either the autum after Daihaseisai or after winter break, right before Junko and the other third years graduate.

There is no mentions of WW3 or the tension leading up to it WW3 that doesn't involve both Misaka/Misaki or otherwise city wide events, like the Ichihanransai preparations would probably be mentioned if that close since Tokiwadai probably goes big on that.

So one likely candidate is after Jail Breaker but before WW3. The only thing we know about what the Tokiwadai peeps where doing then was Misaka's phonecall, it doesn't really fit the vibe of the story though. Since no tensions or talks about anti-AC demonstrations. While they are sheltered girls they are also connected to all over the world, Europe included. The school garden would probably be the one most in tune with what happens in global politics.

I strongly believe that the Election Arc is before Jailbreaker, which happens at the same time as DRAGON, which puts it in mid October.

Dopplegänger happens the evening of October 10 and Jailbreaker begins October 16. Given that Aqua of the Back, British Royal Family, and DRAGON all happen mid-October too... Misaka going to war two weeks after Jailbreaker happens 😭
