I know I need to turn off my logic with this series
but man, seeing that physics-defying piece of clothes that seems to be glued to her body really bugs me

Clothing glue is an actual thing sometimes used for risqué costumes. Odd for a middle schooler to use, but who knows with some of Academy City's nutjobs.

Besides that, the logic of this series is sound, you just rarely have more than 10% of the full picture.
