iirc It was a build up from the Queen being too clingy with MC, giving special items, trying to get him laid. But, the last straw was her putting a bounty on his head. However that happened 'cause the stupid green dragon were blackmailing (in attacking her country) the Fairy Queen.

Well, even so, I think the MC did overreact since this a game.
