I have a hunch that hatsushiro had been missing for more longer than we think. Given that there has never been shown a news of recent missing hi school girl. And the coach being always very cheerful since the first time he was introduced in the manga. He mightve been just being stoic or something, but he looked way too cheerful to me for someone who recently had his daughter missing. This doesn't explain her bruises tho. Those bruises might have been old or idk. My guess is she had been running from home to that prestiges school not in a "formal" way, given what Otani has found. Or, her father forced her to do that.

Old Bruises? Bruises fade after a few weeks. She must have been hit recently.

Really I think these two have similar fathers who push their children too hard for their own wish fulfillment. Just Hatsushiro's father is still alive and ready to thump her again. I reaaaaally hope Yuuki can fuck this dude up.

The coach has absolutely nothing but cans of beer in his shopping basket, even though he's in a shop he doesn't visit usually. It doesn't necessarily mean anything, especially since he seems fit physically, but it's still possible he does drink till he's wasted. Who knows what he's like when drunken, as he's quite aggressive and relentless when sober. But then again, maybe that load is meant to last for a week. Yet we do know his daughter ran away from home.
