Wow before the "advisor" gave him the dumb romantic comedy summary, the guy actually had common sense. That said, if you irritate a girl just slightly when you first meet her, but act nice to her later and earn her forgiveness, with some girls, that DOES work better than just having a normal start to any relationship. Generally only if there was some chemistry to begin with though.

@arcsalvo Well in Korean romance manhwas I have read, over 80%(3-4 manhwas out of 25 were actually normal romance which I could complete) employs this method for starting relationship. The slow japanese mangas(the legendary tsundere) are actually much better than these manhwas. Although both of them are really dumb and irritating actually.

If only I had known that there's agent part of a secret underground organization dedicated to making all shoujo manga, manhua, and manhwa male leads act mean to their female lead counterpart. Then I could have some explanation for it. And maybe someone to blame so i wouldn't feel such hatred and sometimes murderous feelings towards so many male leads and could direct those feelings towards that misleading man instead. If a manga/manhua/manhwa's ML is like that, i usually can't take it and float away...but i have watched korean dramas like that...and i can't stand it. (i will only continue because of my loyalty to certain actresses/actors)
