I don't think it's awful like sedition says it is, but I will agree that this is not the 8/10 it currently has. There are other modern-era regression stories that have a musical focus that actually earn at least an 8/10. This one is just fine. There's a core part of it that just feels like something is missing that I can't quite point out what that is. I disagree that the MC doesn't put real work into his projects, but at the same time what is shown doesn't deliver the best showing of his efforts... at least not until this latest arc which I honestly think is the best arc thus far.
Also, this has the romance tag, but there is zero romance whatsoever. Helping out beautiful women achieve career goals is lovely and all, but there is only one that I could consider anything close to hinting at being a romantic partner, and there has been no action towards progressing any romantic feelings at all.
The flaws that this has as a story overall leaves me giving this a 6/10 so far. Although, the current incomplete arc is more along the lines of a 7/10.
