I hope it's just the brainworms speaking, but the fact he's "yugi-sensei" and not "amane" makes me worry that it's tsukasa that grew up and the abomination with a hole for a face is actually hanako, who responds to people calling for his brother because, hey, i'm looking for him too!

I don't think that's possible, since on page 22, in the photo you can see the position of the pupil(?) is higher up. If it was Tsukasa it'd be more in the center. Unless they got geneswapped in this timeline lmao

upon a reread— i kind of wonder why the seat of the present's time keeper was empty before akane? like had the present been changed before the timeline we know, with the keeper of the time getting killed in the process? i dont know if its particularly important but while thinking about where things started getting wrong,,,
