Every time these two are in a chapter together it's either insanely cute or absolutely depressing or both. Usually both.

Just finished the chapter. I though it was odd on how the chapter felt so nostalgic so I dug up the old chapters and it finally made sense.
This chapter is most likely a throwback to chapter 48.

He's clearly dead since he's born decades before the main plot of TBHK started, either from natural cause or something else (in this timeline we don't know yet. Though we do know he died prematurely at the original timeline hence why he never grew old). That's him as a supernatural I bet

Ah, I gotcha. He just dies later in life... does that mean we are gonna have an evil duo? Makes me remember the results of "who do you want to see fight together?" And number one was the yugi twins. (Chapter 77)

The situation with the Minamoto family is already really fucked, but KouMitsu is something else. Teru's stoic decision to lose his family all over again and return to a life where he's an overworked exorcist-student - because he knows that accepting how easily mutable history can be means always worrying that every good thing he has can be just as easily taken away - was already making me insane. And THEN they hit us with the KouMitsu doomed love???

- Kou doesn't have to take over the house's domestic work
- Kou has more free time to socialize with his classmates
- Kou gets to befriend Mitsuba
- Mitsuba, now with a friend, likely had Kou looking out for him on the day he was supposed to die -- maybe Kou helped out with the cooking so there was no need for Mitsuba to go out, or literally managed to stop or push him out of the way.

Yay! he got to live longer as a science teacher, but still becomes supernatural after dying. this time an evil supernatural! fun! (not fun) probably Tsukasa’s fault (Well technically the red house is at fault because it seems like they were still living in it this timeline and this house is very haunted with some wish demon or something sooo)
