What about here? There isn't a clear black background and you can clearly say that some specific are white, so am I to assume the rest is supposed to be black? Or are they showing their panties in the ear cleaning place? Some panellings are just poorly done.

The black background ends at the top of the panels to the left of this, so that means this is part of the imaginary sequence. I do see what you mean though with panels within this one having white backgrounds, which can lead to confusion. It being so crowded doesn't help, either.
