The angle, the art are both intriguing, but the story direction is tedious. all I see now is a slippery slope my bois.

How is this at a 9.1 rating?? It feels so basic. Like its not bad but compared to a lot of the other stuff around that area of ranking it feels so mediocre. Admittedly I haven’t gotten super far in so it’s probably just me jumping the horse, does it get better later on?

I have not read the novel, but these last episodes (33-35) has me seriously worried that this will be a waste of time. I don't understand how so many rates this 10 considering it's rating is +9 at the time of writing. Why must so many series do this? Are they so afraid of progressing the main story and afterwards adding filler or side stories for longevity?

this is purely a personal opinion,
but this story would be quite interesting if the author didn't introduce too many female characters. It just makes me lose focus on the chemistry between MC and FMC.
kubo-san, takagi-san, and next door angel were quite good by solely having a focus on the MC and FMC only.
damn it, just make up your mind author-san whether you'll go with the couple growth story or generic fake-harem story with many heroines only to be used as a plot device.

Refreshing to actually see someone that have the exact same opinion as me, like come on only introduce as much character as you can handle, too much and some character will eventually be neglected (no character development), this is also why i hated the Harem genre, that genre is infamous for the lack of actual character development, i only read those where the author actually has the balls to pick one girl and through that decision develop all the others with that in mind, like some might get rejected but at least they grow as a person in a process.

Also the mangaupdates say the genre is Harem, what's up with that?

this series is kinda good, considering that the art looks amazing, only issues is that the story is unable to support that many characters leading to slow character development. and also the manga release is slow . tho I'm looking forward to the anime

this series completely doesn't deserve a 9.10, only a 7.5 at best. it's an empty, shallow, feel-good slice of life story trying to be deep. filled with nonsensical drama, useless side characters whose only purpose is for the fan service, and definitely important incest jokes that plays a huge role in the story that is constantly repeated throughout every volume that i think, won't change in the future.

honestly, im disappointed because the premise is really interesting, and the art is so good to look at. but it does what its supposed to be well. an empty, shallow feel-good slice of life story.

i mean, it isn't surprising. harem (or rom-com) animes are really easy to produce that makes a lot of money, and most of them as a whole is overrated. and all you can do to make an anime fan happy is by producing eye-candy with little to no depth, and they'll rate stupid shit like this to a 9/10.

to the anime's credit, it's really good fucking eye-candy, and it was funny to see them animate the leg scene (despite how weird it is), but i hope they should honestly just stick to being a rom-com instead of trying to be deep in the latter half like the manga did so that the writing isn't anymore pathetic than it is already.

Jokes aside, this manga is seriously OverateD !! And i’m so glad that most ppl in this comment section agree with me.
We got an MC that is more dense a Fricking Black Hole. The type of Denseness that is like this “I wont do this to anyone else tho..” and the MC would just brush it off like.. nothing..
He will seriously acts like an Oblivion NPC when there’s a need to progress their relationship.
“What’s that? Must have been the wind..”
And it’s because of these kind of Mc that I hate Shonen romance(not all are bad). But jesus, could you pls stop Blushing, being Dense, tasteless Drama or Milking the series dry like Rent a GF ??
