The dad is literally like "Oh shit, I raised my kids as sociopaths and now they're too batshit to take over for me. Better bank on my daughter whose the only one that seems remotely sane." what I don't understand is how he hasn't caught on that the daughter is only the only one not crazy enough to worship the cult. Also at first I thought the mom was a doll and the real mother had already died. It's suddenly much more creepy that the little brother licked her (and like slobbered at that)
