Yo! So, like I said in the credits page, I'll translate this to chapter 22 and then jump to current to finish the last few chapters. After that, I'll take a look at the between chapters and see if they're worth going through again. I read through them briefly and they seemed ok, but I'd have to go back and read the original Japanese to see if everything is accurate.

If it seems ok, then I'll end the project there. If the translations are bad then I'll do it, but again, they seemed ok. If I decide not to do it but people want a more cohesive collection, then maybe I could be convinced to do it. The editing/redrawing takes a lot of time because I'm self-taught and not an artist and the thought of doing an additional 30 chapters for a minimal quality improvement is daunting. (I prefer doing SFX too unless it's detrimental to the art.)

Anyway! Let's do this! I really like this story! I planned on doing it MONTHS ago, but someone posted a new chapter right when I literally had photoshop open. So I stopped and saw that it went untouched for months again. Then someone messaged me and informed me that the early chapters were rough and I was like, "Really?" and was shocked by it because I didn't remember it being that bad. I must have just saw that and went to the original to read it instead lol.

Edit: Also! I'll release chapter 2 tomorrow since chapter 1 was so short!

were chapters 1-22 that badly translated in your eyes? it seems like a waste of time to translate only the first 22 then skip. wouldn't it be better to just continue on where the other group left it? apparently this story ends in 7 more chapters.

Have... Have you read them? Some things are just left blank, the grammar is awful and some of it is just straight up not what is said.

And it's been... 9 months since it was last updated? I'm sure some people will want to reread it to refresh their memory and then it reappearing in the feed will catch new readers. I want them to have a reading experience that won't scare them away like it did me because I doubt they could just go to the source and read it in Japanese like I did.
