"I was just an oasis where she could be herself. I was never her final destination."
This is so raw, the amount of questioning or closeted girls who use other queer girls as an umbrella from the storm, only to toss them aside is ridiculous. Especially in highschool when coming to terms with "I can never be a normal girl" hits harder than a mother fucker. It's lonely and isolating to be cut off from your peer group during the most socialized time of your life, and it's so easy to get swept up in unhealthy situationships just to feel less lonely.
This series really jumps into the past and hits my younger self with a brick lol. I feel so bad for Asuna
