seeing that map really made me wonder, like wtf is going on outside of tokyo?

Knowing that in reality only the 1st and 2nd wards are relatively safe doesnt that leave everywhere else in the world as a hellhole? Or are the ghouls only in tokyo? If the ghouls are in other cities and countries does that mean there are other organizations fighting them, or do they just independently run countries in some places? I remember seeing that the investigators have been in action since at least 1890, so that means ghouls have had plenty of time to take over other countries and shit.

Im ngl while there is a lot of good things in this manga the world building is quite shitty, I really hope they address this stuff lol

unless you want the manga to be like 500+ chapters it's impossible to cover all of that and it was stated before this chapter that there are ghouls in other countries but it seems (my thoughts) that a huge number of them are in japan

It was said that a CCG lab exists in Germany and the Rosewald ghoul family is from there, and that Hoji made a name for himself by killing ghouls in China. With that, we can safely assume that the CCG operates internationally.
