i feel like that "random ass clown" is important as he is a childhood friend(at least someone who knows her from a young age) of Rize(which said that she is beyond V group), child of the Garden (which is the same place where they produced monsters like Arima and Hairu), member of the V(however he seems to act independantly), member of the CCG, and the member of the Clowns. This man is working overtime lol

Furuta is a schemer whether you like it or not, she was not beaten by a random ass clown. Eto in perfect health would be a tough battle for Furuta even as a half human and there's no way she would be done in by one attack. Furuta definitely took into account her healing capabilities when he fed her the Shiono pate so it's likely that the meat was pumped with a certain dose of RC suppressants so she wouldn't notice, or she hasn't recovered from the effects of the suppressants to begin with and she could only muster all her strength into her kakuja body, save for her insane healing ability.
