@Mewples Touka is right though. It has been showed in the past chapters and even in the future chapters that Kaneki protecting others for his own selfish reason, he doesn't want to be alone. His loneliness and fear of being abandoned is a recurring theme of the manga. Kaneki is a very messed up man. Also he decided on his own that he didn't want to go back, rejected Touka, avoided her, anyone in that situation would be mad at him.

I know this is old but Kaneki selfishly decided to distance himself from those he deems “important” under the pretext that he wants to protect them but like Miyako mentioned, Kaneki was only protecting himself. Touka called him out on it and that’s why he‘s willing to disband the group. He might’ve suffered a lot, yes, and Touka might not know the full extent of his suffering but that doesn’t mean that she is wrong about him. Touka is angry because Kaneki isn’t willing to admit this about himself.

The serious stuff aside, everyone knowing the person wishing for height is Ayato is funny as fuck, poor guy
