Takemichi is the weakest Mc ever! He has never actually won a fight!! His best traits are not giving up and taking hits and he can’t even beat a single noob.. story of this manga is 10/10 but character development is 0/10..

EVERY FUCKING TIME. When will he learn when to fight?? Fair enough if he couldn’t do anything this chapter but for about the rest of the story he’s just shouting, crying or being a punch bag.

Well yea, this wasn't supposed to be your regular shounen manga. The fact that Takemichi can't fight is what carry the plot, it's the premise. He can't just fight his way through a problem (though he can be a punch bag to make time for other people to punch for him) and he was never a smart guy like Kisaki to think 2 steps ahead. If he were able to do those things the manga will shift direction considerably.

Also, trying to cover your head with your arm is indeed a realistic reflex reaction when someone swing a bat at you.

You’re basically saying he’s stupid, acts on reflex, a punching bag and can’t fight in a manga with the premise of fighting and protecting which is just plain stupidity from the author. There’s no character development because he’s exactly the same from the first chapter.
