Having a full on Gay shounen delinquent manga would definitely receive some harsh negative feed back. I still give props to the author for atleast allowing a kiss in the story.

I believe having a gay relationship in the manga would be fine, as long as it doesn't suddenly take full control of the story. Touching on it once or twice sparsely through the story but not losing the main goal of the story would be fine by me.
