So I came here to check the ending... and it seems like a happy one.

Ok, I will go and start watching the anime then.

(IMO it's good to get spoiled a little rather than watching an anime for like 10 years then get a shitty ending)

Im always down for a happy ending, but at first I thought this felt like a bit of a cop out. Everyone is alive again, which feels like a huge cop out. Then I think back and realize there isn't a single person who died a meaningful death, and every one of them deserved a second chance (especially emma bro). All-in-all i am satisfied.

The ending soured it for me... :( Unfortunately rushed, reminded me of how they rushed the Game of Thrones ending. I could accept the ending if we would have come to it in a better way. Compared to how it started it just fell flat. So much unexplained stuff and forgotten characters.

I'm a total sucker for a nice good happy hope-core ending but this ending totally sours me. If your gonna have an ending this redeeming, where EVERY character death is reset, ALL villains/antagonists are redeemed, and ALL character conflicts/issues are solved offscreen I'm gonna have to feel that struggle to get to that huge of an ending, and we gotta keep it a stack it's a fucking HUGE ending considering some of these characters. Emma's death was wild that shit had me shook for a hard second, total bystander, non-combatant, sister of a major character, love interest to another, and killed under the orders of another relative (not to mention a pretty chilling scene at least i think so on first read). aaand then Takamichi and Mikey time travel and it's fine. ok???? Kisaki major antagonist for a large part of the series, the menace with a mission for love, instigator, manipulator, Emma's murderer, Hinata's future murderer, aaand then Takamichi and Mikey time travel and it's fine completely redeemed in the end, total character reset, he's a friendly now, the guy has a gag moment at the end....bro?????? are we even given anything about this guy that warrants capable of being fixed to mellow him out like that? From what I know his motives are that he likes Hinata so he becomes a delinquent cause Hinata likes Takamichi who is trying to be a delinquent, and then he's just an asshole about it, like nothing made him be an asshole did that on his own, but Takamichi and Mikey time travel and now hes all cool now????

Went downhill during the Tenjiku arc, what a shame.

I guess the only great thing that stayed the same was Chifuyu, loved that guy.

Never bothered to continue reading after draken's death because I realized they were going to drag this out into a nonsense ending. Looks like I was right. They already had a suitable but somewhat bittersweet ending and they made it meaningless. If the anime decides to fix this issue. I'd probably suggest everyone watch that instead of reading this terrible series.

Wow, this really was the potentially worst ending to a story I have ever witnessed. Don't get me wrong, I am all in for happy endings and hope and peace. But all of a sudden Mikey AND Takemichi can time leap? And everyone is alive, all the enemies are friends now and everything is cool and chill? Like for example, Drake's first fake death was well made. He is dead in the original timeline but is saved by leaping back, all fine. But that second time, he should've been done for. Same goes for Baji, Emma and so many more. Their deaths and fates were crucial to the story's progression and the character's development. Not to mention that it makes zero sense that a) more than one person can time leap and b) Take can see the future to begin with. Like, this was the pinnacle of "random bullshit go". This entire final arc after Tenjiku was absolutely unnecessary. You could've just ended the manga the way it was, just give Mikey a happy ending too and finito. I get that Wakui maybe wanted to introduce new characters like Senju, Haru or the legends, but there are dozens of other ways to do that than to use ruin the ending. You know what, keep the final arc but let Takemichi die a meaningful death. This would've perfectly fit the darker tones of the story. The MC doesn't need to survive, just look at Cyberpunk Edgerunners. David is dead but it's still a perfect ending.
