I don't get why he let the bald guy live. The palace is too op. He could kill anyone and everyone he wanted to judging by its function. The plot is not really compelling at all. The relics don't exactly function as you would expect them to, for example gogh's painting. It's stupid op. Just suck in an enemy or their attack and spit them out in an environment where you can deal with them easily, i.e. the palace. Shakespeare's pen as well, just write anything you want to happen. Seems like the writer just decides how they want something to happen and everything just conforms around it. It's beyond contrived. Also, the thief/assassin girl. He had 3-4 chances by now to recruit her but she conveniently escaped this last time when Irene went to the convenience store and mc went to check on his brother at the same time without regard to their captive at all.
I wanted to stick with this since I'm interested in morally gray characters, but its not getting any better.
