You say that the criticism concerning lazy writing is a valid one, but fail to explain why.
How is it lazy to have parents that are similar to their children?
It's a trope, tropes are in use in all stories, and this particular one is also
true in real life. If mimicking the real world is your definition of "lazy writing", then you can stop reading here, because the entire premise of your criticism is fundamentally flawed.
And yes, the criticism doesn't matter, because after 814 chapters of "Superdense Male MC x Tomboy Warrior Princess", you should be quite aware that the author makes extensive use of tropes, including the very one that's being criticized.
After all, it's not the first time we've seen this, with Tomo's father being a hot-blooded muscle brain, Misuzu's mother being a cynic tsundere, and Carol's being an airheaded genius. It's also not the first time we saw Tomo's mother by far.
The very fact that you're still here reading this, is because you didn't mind this particular instance of "lazy writing" enough for it to be a problem. Complaining now is dumb at best, and plain hypocritical at worst.
