At least I tried to explain my logic, which is more than anyone can say about you.

@Nolonar: Since you seem to be unaware of the lack of logical consistency in you reply, it seems that I need to spell it out for you.
The criticism concerning lazy writing is a valid one. Trying to downplay it in your reply is unnecessary.
Your reply starts with a rhetoric question that intrinsically implies that this criticism doesn't matter because the writing is supposedly good. Note that you're not making any point with this statement. You're simply speculating that people don't care about this, which is obviously untrue.
Then you digress from the point that the writing is lazy and consider manga art in general. Needless to say this doesn't address the topic at hand in any way. Not only that, but your statement no colour = lazy is arguable at best, and plain wrong at worst.

You say that the criticism concerning lazy writing is a valid one, but fail to explain why.
How is it lazy to have parents that are similar to their children? It's a trope, tropes are in use in all stories, and this particular one is also true in real life. If mimicking the real world is your definition of "lazy writing", then you can stop reading here, because the entire premise of your criticism is fundamentally flawed.

And yes, the criticism doesn't matter, because after 814 chapters of "Superdense Male MC x Tomboy Warrior Princess", you should be quite aware that the author makes extensive use of tropes, including the very one that's being criticized.
After all, it's not the first time we've seen this, with Tomo's father being a hot-blooded muscle brain, Misuzu's mother being a cynic tsundere, and Carol's being an airheaded genius. It's also not the first time we saw Tomo's mother by far.

The very fact that you're still here reading this, is because you didn't mind this particular instance of "lazy writing" enough for it to be a problem. Complaining now is dumb at best, and plain hypocritical at worst.

@Nolonar: Because it was already explained, go back to the comment you replied to originally.
It's one thing to have parents similar to their children, it's another having clones. It is lazy writing to stick tropes at every junction.
The rest of your statements do not make any sense either. It shouldn't be criticized because I should be already used to it?
You can go ahead and make assumptions why I am still reading this, doesn't help your point in any way. I am reading this despite its flaws, not because I don't care about them. It's obvious I am not the only one that shares this sentiment.
You argument that this should not be criticized for its apparent flaws is ridiculous at best.

I said no such thing, but I suppose defamation is a great way to get your point across.

I said that at this point, it's pointless to criticize a flaw that's been there for who knows how many hundreds of chapters.
Kind of like it's pointless to criticize Dragon Ball for constantly killing and reviving characters. We get it, it's been that way since forever, you're so smart to have figured it out now of all times. Here, have a cookie and let other people enjoy things.

@Nolonar: What's next on the menu, playing the victim? You said no such thing?
And the next sentence is this?
"I said that at this point, it's pointless to criticize a flaw that's been there for who knows how many hundreds of chapters."
You're not the one that decides when something is beyond critique, since it's "at this point", it's as simple as that.
If you can't enjoy something because somebody pointed out a flaw, that's on you really. That doesn't make your arguments against criticism any more sound though. Go ahead with "who cares" all you want, you obviously care enough to feel the need to try and downplay valid criticism and to be having this conversation with me.

No, I really don't care whether you think this series is flawed or not. I do care, however, that you insist on defaming me just because my opinion just happens to differ from yours.

You think the parents are cloned and that implies lazy writing. Fine, I think otherwise. We could've had a civil debate about that, but that was obviously asking for too much.

You know what? Cry me a river.

Lots and lots and lots of proof by assertion and proof by repetition going on in here. Ya'll stop learning debating techniques when you were 4 and only updated your vocabulary?

@Nolonar: Your first two statements disagree with your initial reply. It was you that found it necessary to not question the argument of whether this is lazy writing, but rather dismiss it as "who cares" (which is ironic, considering you cared enough to reply).
You're free to argue that using cliches and tropes to replace actual characterisation isn't lazy writing. I'll have to refrain from this exercise in futility however.
You hurt me deeply with your last sentence. /s
