*goes back to check format* ... gasp ... well at the end of all things ... it's gonna get screwy.
AHEM ... not many comments today huh. Usually by this time we've had ten "Tomo must claim her man at whatever cost" comments, seven "I hate this arc" comments, four "Dad is an ass/Jun is an ass" comments, another four "author dropped the ball" comments, and at least three "this is ending in x chapters/pages" followed by at least two "wait this is ending" comments. I don't care what anybody says so far I've enjoyed the roller coaster ride with all the ups and downs. Especially the part where by the end ... you are queasy.
It seems Jun got a boost to intelligence, strategy, and defense stats. Dad seems unaffected but we don't know if there are additional stat drops because of the presence of the Tomo. Whatever is going to help Jun to win should allow Jun to seal the deal in the next chapter (hopefully ... please let it end on a high note *demonic chant intensifies*). This should be followed by Dad advising Jun that he needs to do X in order to inherit his Dojo (and his daughter). I also think Jun will receive a phoenix down/all cure if/when Tomo kisses him afterward. This will, however, deal massive damage to Gorou and also boost Mom's "I can't get outdone by the kids" stat further damaging Gorou later tonight.
Also, it seems like my hypothesis was fairly accurate in the previous chapter comments. Jun has the strength but not the skill to inherit the dojo. OR he has the skill but not the confidence to use it well. In the end it seems that all this 'bull' from dad was making sure Jun is ready toknock Tomo's boots ... inherit the family business (dad want's no part of knocking ANY kind of boots ... unless they are combat boots).
