Looks like Yuichi is being teamed up with Shinomiya, maybe to eliminate Kuroki. Let's see if my thoughts are right or wrong on the next chapter.

Did he tell someone about the game? Who the hell lynched captain-kun? Their team ended the game in relatively good spirits, and it’s not like the debt problem would be solved with his death. Unless it was just an escape? I guess that’s possible, and would explain why chibi holds yuuichi responsible.

I don't think captain is dead. So far the story is rather reluctant with killing characters off with Shibe's dad being the one exception and even then that guy wasn't exactly relevant.
