Fwiw, it's about 9% of the population Vs. about 46%.Weirdly, as an English person, I've seen many, many, many more Catholics than Protestants. I am aware that Protestantism is supposedly more prevalent in England, but everywhere I've been and stayed in England so far in my life has been, by vast majority, Catholic.
Maybe Catholics are just easy to spot, or they proclaim their faith much louder, though.
