I'm really glad this guy is realistically shy instead of getting paralyzing, stuttering fear in front of the girl he likes. Oddly enough, it's a great change of pace, what with all the gyaru+otaku romances of the past 5 years.

You make a fair point, but what I mean he's that he's not fully incapacitated by it, like other shy romcom protagonists. Obviously, reactions are played up for what passes as comedy.

Seno's logic: If you don't have a cat at home, the only explanation for your clothes to have lots of cat hair is to work at a cat cafe. Not even visiting a cat cafe as a customer, you must be working there, especially when your high school forbids part-time jobs. But then again, the story has established him as a worrywart from the beginning. I feel like his troubled social interactions would also become easier if he tried to combat that basic tendency. Relax, relax, someone should keep telling him.
