It’s hard to describe but I feel conflicted about the progress thus far. There’s definitely a bit, but it kinda doesn’t feel very— romance-y yet on either end.

I think it’s just because Nijika doesn’t really show any romantic feelings visually compared to the others; they just kinda seem indifferent which has made it hard to kinda— feel much.

I wonder if Nijika noticed Aira's budding feelings and didn't want their relationship to be labeled as friends as to not hurt her indirectly?

Like in typical shoujo, the girl would get hurt if their love interests calls their relationship friends so I assumed Nijika is avoiding that situation.
