This is very unrealistic when it comes to dating apps if you are a woman. Even if you don't show your face (in apps that allow that in the first place), you'll get hundreds of likes over night with no real way to parse them even if you pay: all you can do is being extremely picky with whom you like (which doesn't work well either).

I think she'd be overwhelmed and delete the app the next day, taking into account her anxieties.

Yeah, the whole setup has been creepy from the start. Still, for the reasons explained in this thread, I think this is a limitation of the author, he is incapable of imagining a realistic, healthy scenario where two shy people would meet. The creepy limitations of the authors always stand out in these kind of mangas.
