Doing the Google app lens translate thing again...
Chapter Title: "Driving a car is hard work"
Text above the car in the splash art reads: "Let's go out on a nice drive!"
First proper comic page margin: "Finally, you've got a ticket to go on a drive date anytime! Congratulations, Nasa-kun!"
Figured out what car Nasa rented: Looks to be a third gen Suzuki Alto Lapin. Seems to be a cute little thing, yeah.
I kind of feel Nasa on the nervousness, but I kept my head straight and had a mental checklist every time I got in for the longest time. I haven't driven in a bit, though.
One of the first things you're supposed to do, at least according to instruction I got here in the States, is to check behind and in front of the car visually to make sure there's nothing in the way before you even get in, check the tires, make sure they're not sagging too much... Then get in, make sure to buckle up (generally one of the first things I do just to make sure I don't forget), check mirrors (he did that), make sure to press on the brakes while you start the car to make absolutely sure it's not going anywhere, start car, check if the e-brake or hand brake is disengaged, start easing off the brake pedal, and... go.
I also identified with the 'must concentrate all on driving' for a good while. Eventually, I got so used to it, I actually needed something playing or my mind would wander. I started listening to podcasts at some point.
I appreciated Tsukasa's attempts to help, and that she eventually landed on 'help navigate'.
And... Last page margin: "The road to marriage is slow and steady."
