I'm getting a bad vibe from Himari, to be honest. She's basically saying she wants what Tsukasa has had for 1400 years and dearly wants taken away. What all the wiser characters in this story say is bad news. Immortality is not something to desire, it's something to dread.

People like her who seem to desire eternal youth are the ones that invariably deserve it the least, and would abuse it horribly. The implied 'consumed by its power' might happen readily for her.

And Tsukasa didn't finish that thought before Aya so rudely interrupted. But I wonder if she was going to mention Shotoku, Michizane, Masakado, Ieyasu, Shizuka, Cugnot... the chain of countless lives she touched and was touched by. That human emotion was the key to breaking the control, just as it was for the first Kaguya to realize how much she loved our world, and her beloved Emperor, and that made her care for us enough to stop what was coming for us at the time, delay the impending doomsday by 1500 years.
