It's rather curious how the more we learn about her past, the more it seems she personally knew every person of great import every few generations.

One wonders if her "curse" does more than provide her with immortality and pushes her onto the path of destiny. Or if it's the other way around....that great figures in Japanese history made the mark they did because they came in contact with an inexplicable, immortal girl who defied all logic, opening their eyes to nee possibilities.
It could be that her curse and altering fate of others are two separate things. Maybe some other force is using her to allow many great people to advance the human race in preparation for the return of the aliens that kaguya destroyed when she got taken back. I even think this entity or force was responsible for kaguya not attempting conquest in humanity but rather become more human herself. 🤔

I am still not used to seeing the early Tsukasa.
Cause I can't see myself imagining the Tsukasa now to do such a risky thing as jumping to her death just to save someone.
She did the exact same thing to save Chitose, and that wasn't all that long ago. She's been doing it all this time.
Dang, she knows Kuukai! Girl's got connections!
I forgot which chapter it is, but Tsukasa even know Nicholas Cugnot and saw the first automobile accident.
Saw? She had the first automobile accident. She crashed it herself.

Anyway, we also had a whole string of flashbacks focused on Japan where she was shown to be close to Michizane (back during the retelling of Kaguya and the Emperor's romance, there was a snap-forward to when it was first being written by him with Tsukasa recounting what she heard about the incident), Masakado, and Ieyasu, as well (the latter two came up while Tsukasa and Nasa were walking towards his grandfather's grave, if I recall, and she was thinking of how Tokyo used to be swampland and known only as Musashi, then the site of Castle Edo).

There was also that sequence where they revealed she knew Shizuka Gozen, in addition to the fact that one of Nasa's students, Kurenai Hotaru, may well be her reincarnation.

The Tokiko flashbacks heavily implied she knew President Eisenhower well enough to ask favors from him (literally called him up on a Japanese-US military base's phone, calling him 'Ike').

It's safe to say she's probably touched lives all across the world that ended up being very important in some way or another.

Is this a re-upload or something bc I feel like I've already read this chapter... 🤔
No, but the exact situation in the beginning has been shown before. I'm drawing blanks on names, but the daughter of the old lady, the mother of the rich girl who appears every now and then. She, too, almost fell off a cliff as a child. That or it was the granddaughter.

Or it was someone else entirely, but we've had this happen at least one other time.

On another topic, page 15, minor typo misgendering Mao in the middle panel middle bubble
Yes, You're talking about Chitose (we literally saw her only two chapters before this, Ch.247, Pg.7, in a meeting at Tokiko's old house with Aurora, Charlotte, Nasa, and Tsukasa talking about the issue of Himari Kosaka possibly knowing Tsukasa is immortal), and the old lady was her grandmother, Tokiko. Her mother is Shiori who showed up only for a little while to push forward the couple to check Tsukasa's old house in the mountains for any secrets (it's how they got the parts for the 5D reading device that looks like a modern cylindrical Mac Pro with a screen and studded with sensors, and also Kaguya's first proper meeting with Tsukasa, and first inklings of curiosity into who Tsukasa actually is for Kaguya, and acknowledgement that Kaguya is extremely perceptive, also her friend Kurenai may well be a reincarnation of someone from Tsukasa's past- was a huge lore dump and plot development arc).

There was also a splash page art that literally depicted the scene near the start with Tsukasa clinging to the cliff with the young boy, Mao, in one hand (Ch.243).

Buddha bringing salvation? I'm not super familiar with how Buddhism evolved after reaching Japan but with this depiction of Kuukai I'm not sure Hata-sensei knows either :thonk:
I think it's more the fact that it's a kid misunderstanding the teachings. As he grows up, he probably realizes that's a silly way of looking at it, similar to how Tokiko went from being like Chitose to being a snarky old person having to deal with an eternal 16 year old.
