@thegentelman wtf!? just... why?
In all seriousness, it's actually a deerskin hair ornament. One of the Q&A sessions at the end of each volume actually explicitly said as much. The series wiki calls it a barrette, specifically, which seems about right, to be honest, since many barrettes can look like that.@thegentelman its just perfect.
Probably because they actually haven't, but people assume they did after some of the kissing/hugging sessions up until this point in the manga. If they had done it, they probably wouldn't be so avoidant of actually taking a bath together at this time. Of course, they do end up using the private bath together, but they remain such adorably innocent derps the whole time, if the anime is anything to go by. It's still pretty obvious actually having sex is still a ways off even after that.why are people commenting as if they never done it before?
I need to look up Kusatsu and Yoshimune. This is apparently another one of those Kaguya-hime hints.
If the theory about Tsukasa being Kaguya-Hime is true, then I wonder why she's getting flustered over everything, like it's new to her. Surely she could've experienced some of those during her time wandering Japan centuries ago.
Pretty much what Fujiwara no Sai says, more or less. Reminder she's still physically a 16 year old. She's been stuck that way ever since she, presumably, drank the immortality elixir that was supposed to be burned atop Mt. Fuji at the end of the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter (Kaguya-hime story), but, based on my understanding up until this point in the manga, must have been instead given to Tsukasa during her 16th year of life. Most likely her father back then was one of those tasked with the elixir's destruction, and instead of following the imperial order he gave it to his daughter. Of course, this would mean the inevitable happened and her father was executed for defying imperial decree. I can only imagine the sadness Tsukasa has gone through.I believe it is due to her maiden's heart. 😇
She seems to be perpetually 16 years old. Her approach might be affected by that age limit?
Though Kaguya-sama Wants To Be Confessed To / Love is War has given me some more info about this Japanese cultural aspect, I don't know the full story. I do know she gave her suitors some impossible tasks to accomplish. But in this case, she is dating Nasa in her day-to-day relationship, though they're married in the legal realm. But that was the premise: "Marry me and I'll date you." So, my understanding is that they're simply dating from her perspective. 🤔
