Considering who the author is, I'm waiting for it to turn int a battle manga with android space rabbit as they fight on the moon to win the heart and soul o f the main characters because of some legend in the past.

At the level of kissing
Considers it too graphic for a young girl.
The Virgin level is over 9000 :D

I want to make stupid Virgin jokes but somehow that just makes the boy more adorable :p

My theory. I know it'somewhat crazy but hear me out; She's old, think granny years. For some reason or other, don't ask me how, she's now in a 'seemingly' young body.

There are certain hints in this latest chapter, also in the previous few chapters, especially some things her 'family'/acquaintances happened to say. And we must not forget the way she speaks, and a lot in the way she acts.

I know it sounds bollocks. But I honestly could see this author pulling something like that off...

made an account just to say this. Hata better not fuck up this time. Hayate No Gotoku was one of the few animes and manga i dutifully followed growing up and he just threw 10+ years of readership on a rushed ending that just ignored even CORE character (hamster, maria its like they never existed). This manga gives off Hayate reboot from the start (snowy start, protag meet, near death), not that i mind, i just wished he gives the fans some afterthought this time.

p.s a negima styled tie in won't be so bad either

...Hata-sensei is just blatantly flauting how good his married life is, ain't he? (and how he's enjoying FGO, I guess)

Some guy below said that this could go harem. I'm gonna disagree from the sole fact that he's a married man and hopefully the auther remembers that

Okay so here's my guess as to what happens:

Tsukasa is, as her name implies, some sort of moon goddess/alien. We've seen that she's got some sort of superhuman ability, from when she saved his life and got hit by a truck and wasn't hurt at all. Not to mention, she can read minds. That's also probably one of the reasons she loves Nasa-kun - what he says outwardly matches with what he thinks internally, which she was probably referencing when she said he'd never lied to her.

She's probably some kind of Japanese national secret as well. We've seen the moon rock called her 'moonstone', so we know she has a strong connection to the moon - not to mention the fact that the story is based on Kaguya-hime who was taken from Earth to the Moon.

And early on, Nasa talks about how he'd never stand by as the woodcutter and emperor did, and let her be taken away. He'd go fight for her.

And so that's my prediction (as of Chapter 17) of what will happen. My guess? Alien life or something exists on the moon, and Tsukasa will be forced to return there - perhaps as a sort of arranged marriage to a moon god or something. Consider that the alternate name of this is "Fly me to the moon" and the MC's name is literally NASA.

To get his wife back, he will go back to school, spend several years becoming an astronaut (realistically we're looking at about 10+ years), and will literally fly to the moon to retrieve his wife.

Also, I would just like to say thank the freakin' heavens for an MC that isn't a blubbering pile of shit. Actually able to confess properly, kisses his wife, etc. A real main character and good person! I'm really looking forward to where this goes.

@TrollKing -- This manga could still go "harem," only just not the traditional route. I cite "Ai Yori Aoshi" as an example of that, though there, the MC and his betrothed had to keep their relationship secret for family political reasons. Here, we might see Nasu being tempted by other girls, either because they are in love with him, or they just want to separate him from Tsukasa. Thus, there's a harem, especially if the girls just trying to separate Nasa and Tsukasa fall for Nasa as well.

@LysandersTreason The plot reminds me of the old manga "Please Save My Earth" the plot is a group of people awaken their memories of their ancient lives, they were once aliens located on the base on the moon. They died on the moon and what killed them and their species is still on the moon . They have to solve the mystery of their deaths and eliminate the thing that is on the moon before it end up killing the human race hence the title.

I don't know why, but despite all of the romantic shit this manga gives me anxiety. It always feels like the female lead is about to disappear at any point.

Well, it's not like they haven't already dropped a metric crapton of Kaguya-hime foreshadowing around her. (Not talking about the manga, talking about the JP folk tale.)

But knowing Hata, I wouldn't be surprised if that was all an elaborate troll.

Mhmm... After reading 18 chapter few last pages again there was different theory that hit me. I mean what if our FMC is actually immortal in some sort of way? I mean all this always and forever somehow make me think that she was speaking about a realy far future when MC will be long gone rather than about close future where she will have to left him (even more considering that she sayed few times already that she will not disappear ) This will be quite an interesting bettersweet development if she is doing all this marriage thing while knowing that she will be left alone someday.
