I gotta say it for those who wander across this chapter and are wondering.

It appears that there's a translation error on the last panel (or possibly an error in the original text or the author changed his mind).
The Kouhai girl wants to be her boyfriend's dog, not the other way around. She also has her own story.

I'm also in the M camp so I can't say I wasn't mildly disappointed. She's still definitely cute though.

That one is from another of zurikishi's series, called simply "kouhai."

Although I think that might have been mistranslated, in the series it was stated that she wants to be his (the guy's) dog
