I mean it's solid advice. Genuinely. He got what he wanted and he doesn't have to deal with bullies, but you got to do what you got to do.

Jesus is that kickboxing kid just gonna be a yamcha for the rest of the story? I’m glad he’s facing some karma but this is just sad. Was hoping he’d become the back up the MC was gonna need long term

Yeah it’s one of the few times where I can’t even blame her. I think that is what will always separate her from the MC. She will always put herself and what she can gain first before lifting a finger. As she’s almost always been tough so she can’t really empathize with any character here.

The MC has spent most of his life at the bottom of the social ladder without a single person to back him up. So naturally he can’t become what he hates. Im probably overthink things but imo it could be interesting to see how this difference in life experience will impact their dynamic long term.
