It’s actualy an earth dragon, the forest sanctuary you’ll see soon is actually its body and it acts like a predatory plant that secretly consumes the prey animals that live there and feed on its vegetation, the elder is actually just the earth dragon communicating though the body of an animal it fused with and parasitically uses as a host body. the current animal being a mammoth so it can give off the longevity ruse.
