@AE86-sempai The author is Japanese, but the publication is exclusively French. Ki-Oon has launched a few series like that.

Very interesting work of art and really enjoying it but, man, sometimes the way Doudou's face is drawn raises an eyebrow.
Many manga do have black characters, and they are drawn at least in the same style as other characters. The mangaka here seems to have gone overboard on making Doudou the comic relief.

Serious question, let's say someone decides to re-upload chapters or start a new translation, what happens? Do they get a cease and desist letter or something?

Aimless series that threw a lot of shit at the wall. Another showcase of the value of Japanese “editors”. (They are argueably more like cowriters.)

It started incredibly strong, with gorgeous artwork, a lore-rich story, an interesting world, and captivating characters. Tsugumi was especially gorgeous—not in a perverted way, but in a genuinely artistic sense. Over time, though, the author seemed to abandon that beautiful art style and started portraying Tsugumi as overly exaggerated and silly in almost every panel. Even during moments that were meant to be serious, she was reduced to a goofy doodle. It was funny at first, but it quickly became exhausting. The same thing happened with Puck in Berserk, to the point where it became hard to even remember what his original design looked like.
A shame. This manga could easily be a 10/10 for me, but mainly because of this, there's no way I consider it a perfect score.
