I remember when I started reading this when it was first translated. It is ending in the same fluffy tone as it started and the author made sure the ship sailed as well.
The pace to the end is a bit fast, but I have no complaints. Better this than dragging on and boring the readers.

Great ending, I agree that it felt very sudden and chaotic, but also like a grand finale that has all the fun and spectacle and heart of the series all rolled into one. I never would guess that the final chapter would have a big wrestling scene, but I'm here for it.
