Takanashi's name is a common bird-themed name.

小鳥遊 literally means "little bird(s) playing", which would normally be pronounced ko-tori-asobi.
鷹無し means "hawks, none" or "no hawks", and is pronounced the same 'takanashi'.

The idea is that little birds can freely play only when no hawks are around.
